MPPK Group is a company dedicated to building the future of healthy pet nutrition. It specializes in the distribution of premium dog and cat foods. Its portfolio includes recognizable brands such as Rural Homestead, Mr. Meat, Alpha Spirit and Primal Spirit. The company focuses on high quality, natural, grain-free and hypoallergenic ingredients, developing sales both in Poland and in foreign markets.

Task

MPPK Group approached us with a need for a modern corporate website that is intuitive to use and fully optimized for mobile devices. The client expected a site with the possibility of flexible development in the future, both in terms of new content and functionality.

The main objective of the project was to create a modern corporate website capable of comprehensively presenting MPPK Group’s values, philosophy and key competencies. The site was to communicate the company’s activities in the areas of distribution, development of its own brands and corporate social responsibility (CSR) in a coherent and transparent manner. A key addition was the effective development of the Career section, supporting the recruitment of new talent to the team.

Work plan

We began work on the project with a strategic workshop with the MPPK team, focusing on the company’s values, operating philosophy and core competencies as an industry leader. Together, we defined the site’s target users (business partners, pet guardians) and determined what content and functionality would best represent the transparency and quality of the brands offered.

We then moved on to the main part of the project, the construction of the site. At this stage we tackled:

  • UX/UI design focused on clearly presenting the company’s own brands and mission statement
  • Structure and edit content in terms of corporate values, production and distribution competencies and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives
  • Implementation of technological solutions, ensuring full responsiveness (optimization for mobile devices) and architectural flexibility for future development
  • Implement the necessary analytical tools (e.g. GTM, GA4) to monitor the effectiveness of the site

Thanks to the workshop approach and close cooperation with the client, the design process went as expected. The MPPK team had full control and insight into every stage of implementation, which allowed for quick decision-making. The result is a modern and scalable corporate website that not only fully reflects the values, supports the recruitment of new team members and presents its competencies. It also provides a solid base for the future development of the company’s communications in the domestic market and abroad.

Discovery

Workshop needs diagnosis

At the beginning of the project, we held a Product Discovery workshop, which provided an in-depth understanding of MPPK Group’s corporate and communications goals and the needs of its key audiences – both business partners and end pet guardians.

Thanks to the workshop, we were able to clarify key personae and determine what information about MPPK’s values, competencies and individual brands users are looking for, and in what order it should be presented.

The result of the discovery stage was the creation of a shared vision for a corporate website that presents a portfolio of brands and supports the building of trust, business partnerships and communication around the philosophy of healthy animal nutrition.

At this stage, the following were created:

Information architecture and links between corporate sections and brand presentation
Analysis of the company's communication needs and experience in dealing with partners
Audience groups with key issues and decision-making process

Based on the conclusions and information architecture developed during the workshop, we proceeded to design the UX and UI for the MPPK Group website. The priority was to create a solution that would allow users to quickly access key information about the company’s values and competencies, present a rich portfolio of brands, and help them find information on job opportunities.

At this stage, we have prepared:

We created a site map and a logical navigation scheme, organizing all the content of the site
Presentation of a portfolio of brands (Rural Homestead, Mr. Meat, Alpha Spirit, Primal Spirit), with the possibility of going to dedicated pages/stores for each of them
Mockups of key views in desktop and mobile versions, incorporating elements to support communication and trust building

UI Design

Presenting brands in a minimalist form

After completing the UX stage, we moved on to designing the visual layer. Our goal was to create an interface that is aesthetically pleasing, modern and, above all, supports clear communication.

The outcomes of this stage are:

Minimalist design in line with MPPK visual identity
Intuitive presentation of brand portfolio
Highlight key values with interactive graphic elements

DEV

Scalable website and flexible CMS

At the development stage (DEV), we relied on the stable and scalable WordPress content management system, which guarantees ease of use and the possibility of future flexible expansion of the site (both in terms of content and new functionalities).

Thanks to the technology used, MPPK received a platform that is easy to manage, while supporting modern presentation of corporate and product content.

The implementation included:

Choosing a CMS that allows the MPPK team to easily and independently add and update information
Optimize the code and structure of the site for performance
Provide architecture to enable future integrations with internal systems

The site clearly and transparently presents the company's mission, operating philosophy and core values.
Presentation of brand portfolio
The site effectively presents a portfolio of brands, making it easier for partners and customers to learn about their unique features.

We created a fully responsive interface that provides intuitive navigation on any device.
